Sonnet : O’ Moon

it was a bright luminous night when i wrote this, kind of like the one in the picture shown below. Hope people like this, my first attempt at writing a proper Petrarchan Sonnet.

SONNET: O’ Moon

I speak to you O’ Moon,

why do you sow in wound?

You shine bright in the night,

yet you seem so gloom.

I see your tears fall with the rain,

why do you cry so blue?

Speak to me O’ Moon,

do you not see my worry for you?

 O’ Moon O’ Moon,

how shall I keep you?

O’ Moon O’ Moon,

is it me who pains you?

O’ Moon O’ Moon,

forgive me, for I love you.
