Glistening Summer Night

Glistening Summer Night

The trickling touch

of the moonlight.

The summer setting sun.

The glowing light,

of a million little fireflies,

to match the luminous lanterns,

all magnificently, undone.

The fire

of the gentle warmth.

The tight enclosing hug.

The scent of being

close to one.

The fright of having none.
